Community Assistance Center Appoints New Director of Development

CONROE, TX – Community Assistance Center (CAC) announces the appointment of Kristi Leggett as CAC’s Director of Development. With a solid history in public relations, fundraising, and orchestrating successful events, Leggett is poised to elevate our development strategies and reengage relationships that will propel our mission forward.

Her diverse capabilities, coupled with a deep-rooted understanding of not only our work but our County, positions her perfectly to lead our development initiatives into a new era of growth and impact,” shared Jennifer Huffine, CAC’s President & CEO.

Prior to joining Community Assistance Center, Leggett held a Senior Account Executive position with Consolidated Communications. Leggett has served on several local non-profit boards and has an extensive history of volunteering in Montgomery County with organizations such as Friends of Conroe, Keep Us Fed Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Fair Association and many more.

Community Assistance Center is a non-profit, social service agency providing resources to meet basic needs and improve quality of life for our neighbors in Montgomery County. CAC provides case management and supportive services such as food, clothing, emergency shelter, rental and mortgage assistance, utilities, and education to promote self-sufficiency. CAC proudly serves residents across Montgomery County through its various programs and services.
