Community Litter Cleanup Event Registration Closed, Walk-Ups Welcome
The Woodlands Township invites residents to join the 10th annual community-wide litter cleanup event on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Pre-registration for Earth Day GreenUp is now closed, but walk-ups are welcome to join.
Walk-up registration can be completed the morning of the event, starting at 8 a.m. at various parks in The Woodlands. A list of park check-in locations in each village can be found online at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/greenup. Disposable gloves, trash bags, instructions and maps to cleanup sites will be provided at check-in while supplies last. A limited number of trash grabbers and vests will be available while supplies last. Supplies must be returned at the check-in site by 11 a.m.
The safety of volunteers, residents and staff is the highest priority. All event staff will wear face coverings. Participants are required to wear a face covering at the check-in location when picking up or returning supplies. Due to COVID safety concerns, the post-clean up celebration at Northshore Park will not be held this year. It is also recommended that groups send just one person to pick up supplies at the check-in.
