By  |
The Conroe Independent School District has confirmed with Hello Woodlands that The Woodlands High School families received the following letter the morning of Thursday, March 28, 2019.
Parents/Guardians,
As many of you are aware, there are some posts and images circulating on social media regarding an individual predicting a shooting. While our campus is not named in the images, we understand the concern around the topics portrayed. The Conroe ISD Police Department is actively investigating the source of the posts. We will have additional police presence in the area today.
The Conroe ISD Police Department along with our administrative team take these situations very seriously and do everything possible to make sure The Woodlands High School and Conroe ISD are safe.
We encourage you and your student to report suspected dangers to the appropriate authorities. Individuals may make anonymous reports to CISD’s KidChat hotline at 1-888-KidChat (543-2428) 24-hours a day or through our Anonymous Alerts app. To learn more, please visit our Safety Information webpage. The safety of the students and staff at our campus and across the District is our top priority.
Thank you,
Dr. Ted Landry, Principal
The Woodlands High School
