Dragon Boys Win Dragon Track and Field Invitational
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The John Cooper School’s varsity boys track and field team wins the Dragon Track and Field Invitational, new school records are set, plus updates on spring sports.

About the invitational, Coach Scott Holland shared, “Strong performance by the boys’ team. Scored in all but two events to take the team title. We were led by Amir Rizvi with two golds, a sliver along with a NEW SCHOOL RECORD in 110m Hurdles. This provides us with some great momentum heading into SPC Championships in just three weeks. I am proud of how the guys up and down the roster competed today. We had lots of Personal Records which shows how hard they have been working.

“Sienna Williams led the way for the girls’ team with a silver, two bronze and a NEW SCHOOL RECORD in the 300m Hurdles,” noted Coach Holland. “It was a great day of competition for everyone involved. We are hoping to see some big things at SPC.”

“Grace Minarovic surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings, striking out seven,” said Coach Nicole Hedden. “Patterson went three-for-three at the plate to lead the Dragons in hits.”
