Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival

Celebrating its 18th year, this renowned event brings 200 fine artists, live music, craft beer, wine and so much more to life along The Woodlands Waterway and in Town Green Park. Produced by The Woodlands Arts Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, funds raised from the arts festival directly impact arts students, educators, programs and organizations across Montgomery County! Luminous Installation (through April 14)

Open to the public and free of charge, the Luminous installation will weave vibrant elements of flora and fauna into the waterfront terrain of City Place Park, creating an enchanted garden with hand-crafted and eye-catching pieces that reflect a modern take on age-old lantern-making techniques. Illuminated nightly at dusk, the display incorporates larger than life lotus flowers, butterflies, mushrooms, flamingos and more for a whimsical experience full of imagination and creativity. City Place Park is located at located at 1250 Lake Plaza Dr, Spring, TX 77389. April 14 is the last day of the installation. Learn More

The Habitat ReStore truck will be at Deacon Baldy’s for you to drop off new or gently used house items from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Deacon Baldy’s will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County for every beer purchased and Woodlands Style House will match it! Learn More

Live on the Lawn

Enjoy live music on the lawn at Central Park in Market Street with Sarah Kelly Music School from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., on Friday nights. Blankets and lawn chairs welcome. Learn More

Lights, Heights & Bites

Lights, Heights & Bites is a 2-hour climb at twilight, finishing the night with a special snack and activity for an amazing night! All children (ages 6–12) require an adult (18+) to climb with them one-on-one. Ticket purchase required for all Adult Supervisor climbers. Tickets are $45 per person regardless of age. Learn More

Crawfish Critic Cook-Off & Festival (April 14-15)

The 4th Annual Crawfish Critic Cook-Off & Festival features live music, fun, activities for kids, and crawfish! On Friday night teams will have the option to compete in a cajun cook-off with gumbo, étouffée and anything but crawfish categories. There will be live music from 5:00 – 11:00 p.m. as well as food trucks and drinks. Saturday will be the Crawfish Critic Cook-off & Festival. There will be 30 competition cook-off teams competing for the right to be crowned The 2023 Crawfish Critic Grand Champion. 2023 IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run and Doggie Dash

The 2023 IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run and Doggie Dash on the morning of Saturday, April 15 in The Woodlands. The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of competition, while enjoying the outdoors and promoting healthy living. Each athlete receives a “Goodie Bag” with a race bib, shirt and the pride of calling themselves an IRONKID. Children’s activities begin at 8:30 a.m. when the site opens at its new location this year at Northshore Park (2505 Lake Woodlands Dr., The Woodlands, TX 77381).

New! The Doggie Dash following the children’s races will begin at 11 a.m. During the Doggie Dash, each leashed, vaccinated dog and their handler have to option to compete in two courses. At the Northshore Park event site, there will be a village with fun and a variety of activities. Learn More

Conroe ISD Cars & Coffee

Come join Conroe ISD for the first district-wide Cars & Coffee hosted by The Woodlands High School Automotive Enthusiasts Club. Admission is free and open to the public. There will be cars, trucks, and motorcycles of various styles, plus first responder/emergency vehicles. Anyone wanting to display their vehicle is welcome to do so at no charge, simply be there for the roll-in between 7:30-8:00 a.m. Learn More

The Woodlands Township Shred Day

As part of The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services Department’s National Night Out’s crime prevention efforts, you are invited to bring unwanted documents to a contactless shredding service from 8:00 am - noon at Sterling Ridge Park and Ride. A donation of five non-perishable food items or $5.00 per box will benefit the Interfaith of The Woodlands Food Pantry. Learn More

Conroe ISD Early Childhood Resource Fair

Conroe ISD will hold its annual free Early Childhood Resource Fair, including onsite Pre-K & Kindergarten registration for 2023-24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wilkinson Elementary. No sign-up required. Bring the family to enjoy a petting zoo, snacks, giveaways, and fun activities. Tour a school bus, a fire truck, a police car, an ambulance, and classrooms. Visit with community organizations and representatives from Conroe ISD.

The event is open to everyone in Conroe ISD. School registration is available for the school the child is zoned to within Conroe ISD, not limited to those zoned to Wilkinson Elementary. Wilkinson Elementary is located at 2575 Ed Kharbat Drive, Conroe, TX 77301. Learn More

Mill Trace Community Involvement Day at Clover Pond Park

Community Involvement Days are FREE events designed to provide residents valuable information regarding property maintenance, crime prevention, safety, mosquito control and other community services. Staff from The Woodlands Township Covenant Administration, Neighborhood Services & other departments will be in attendance, as well as staff from The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department. Giveaways and refreshments will be provided.
