January 21, 2023 – Creekside Park Chili Cook-Off & Winter Festival – Come join the fun at the Creekside Park Chili Cook-Off & Winter Festival at Rob Fleming Park! Activities include a chili contest, as well as the ever-popular snow hill, along with face painting and other fun activities for kids of all ages. Chili cooking will start at 10:00 am with judging beginning at 1:00 pm. Awards are given to the top three chili teams and the best decorated tent. Learn More

January 21, 2023 – Winter Battle BBQ Cook-Off – Enjoy children’s activities, food trucks, vendors, a silent auction, and music while watching some of the best BBQ teams around battle it out for the Grand Champion spot. The BBQ cook-off is sanctioned by IBCA with 100% payout to the teams. The event will benefit Casualties of War-Houston and Folds of Honor. The cook-off takes place at Tomball VFW Post 2427 from noon to 5:00 pm. Learn More

January 28, 2023 – Arbor Day Tree Giveaway – The 47th Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway, held at Rob Fleming Park on Saturday, January 28 from 9:00 am to noon, encourages residents to plant free seedlings in their yards, community open spaces and forest preserves. This year, 12 varieties of native seedlings will be available, including both canopy and understory trees. The event includes activities for kids and more. This is a FREE event for The Woodlands residents. Learn More

February 2-5, 2023 – Lone Star Luau Music Festival – The 6th Annual Lone Star Luau Music Festival is the best little party in paradise! CMA of Texas Songwriter of the Year Thom Shepherd and country recording artist Colby McCabe welcome a stellar lineup of Texas Country and Trop Rock artists along with Nashville songwriters to Margaritaville Lake Conroe for a four day festival of music and fun. February 18, 2023 – Go Texan Parade – Celebrate the start of the of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ at the 58th Annual Go Texan Parade as decorative floats intermingle with hundreds on horseback to fill the streets with hoof beats, marching bands, elected officials, businesses and organizations. Enthusiastic parade spectators can line the streets and sidewalks to be involved in one of the area’s most popular celebrations! The parade begins at 1:00 pm in downtown Conroe. Learn More

February 18, 2023 – Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off – The Muddy Trails 5K ends in a Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off, a festive post-race party featuring live zydeco music, food, and fun. Spectator admission is free and open to the public. The cook-off takes place at Rob Fleming Park from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Learn More

February 25-26, 2023 – Big Top Shopping Festival – The Big Top Shopping Festival is a family-friendly free event with food trucks, live music, family fun, shopping, and more. The festival will offer a wide selection of exhibitors bringing the very best in boutique clothing, accessories, shoes, home decor, furniture, gourmet food, dips, sauces, art, yard decorations, holiday items, and so much more! The Big Top Shopping Festival will be held at Heritage Park in downtown Conroe. Learn More

March 4, 2023 – Arbor Day Celebration – The City of Shenandoah and the Shenandoah Civic Club are again co-sponsoring the celebration of Arbor Day and the city’s designation as a Tree City. The event is an opportunity to speak to your city staff, community volunteers and neighbors while getting ready for the gardening season. There will be free trees, seeds such as milkweeds and annual flowering plants, children’s crafts, and even a plant exchange if you have something to share! The event will be held at the city’s public works building, 29955 I45, Shenandoah, TX 77381, from 9:00 am to noon. Learn More

March 4, 2023 – Holi Festival – The Holi Festival, organized by The Hindu Temple of The Woodlands, will feature live music, dancing, food booths, and the beautiful Holi Color Run! The event will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Learn More

March 11, 2023 – Arts in the Park – Enjoy an afternoon outdoors with family and friends at Arts in the Park! This FREE event features local vendors selling original artwork, live stage entertainment, children’s activities, food trucks and more! Artists 18 and younger are encouraged to create their very own masterpiece and enter the Youth Art Contest. Arts in the Park will be held at Northshore Park from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Learn More

March 18, 2023 – Greater Conroe Arts Festival – Hosted by the members of the Greater Conroe Arts Alliance, the Greater Conroe Arts Festival is a FREE and fun event for the whole family featuring a kids art village, live music, art demos, plein air painters, street chalk artists, fine art vendors, food trucks, Main Street market vendors, a Lego build along, and so much more! March 23 – April 2, 2023 – Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo – The Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo features live concerts, magic shows, animal races, kids’ days, a scholarship chili cook-off, golf tournament, livestock auction, non-livestock shows, a scholarship trail ride, and much more. Learn More

March 24-26, 2023 – Tomball German Heritage Festival – Come and enjoy the family-friendly ambience of the Tomball German Heritage Festival, a unique music/street festival with multiple stages of live music and an open-air market along with antique shops in the old town area of Tomball. Shop street vendors and enjoy various performances, ride the carnival rides, watch the parade, enjoy the famous “tapping of the keg,” and more. March 25, 2023 – Spring Fest Crafters and Artisans Market – The Spring Fest Crafters and Artisans Market will feature over 75 vendors, pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painters, kids crafts, and lots more at the Magnolia Event Center from noon to 4:00 pm. Entry fee is $1. This is primarily an indoor event and will proceed rain or shine. Learn More

April 15, 2023 – Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival – Join the City of Tomball for the 11th annual Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival, a celebration of the tasty crawfish through food, live music, vendors and more, at the Tomball Depot Plaza from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Guests can chow down on spicy boiled crawfish and other Cajun treats along with a variety of festival foods and drinks, then shop vendors selling all sorts of merchandise. There’s even a “Cajun Kids Zone” with bouncy fun for the little ones. Learn More

April 29, 2023 – Sterling Ridge Village Association Fishing Festival – The 8th Annual Sterling Ridge Village Association Fishing Festival will be held at Pepperdale Park, 17 N. Pentenwell Cir., from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Kids and adults gather together and spend a morning fishing and enjoying nature. There will be awards for biggest fish and most fish caught in three age groups. Learn More

April 30, 2023 – Conroe Kidzfest – Conroe Kidzfest is a free fun event in downtown Conroe featuring inflatables, water inflatables, toddler play area, petting zoo, giant slide, rockwall, face painting, concessions, crafts, shopping booths, and more. May 6, 2023 – Texas Crawfish & Cornhole Festival – The Rotary Club of The Woodlands’ 6th Annual Texas Crawfish & Cornhole Festival is a fun day of food and entertainment for the whole family. Indulge in delicious crawfish and participate in a range of family-friendly activities. Every dollar raised will go towards local high school and Lone Star scholarships, and Rotary House. May 13, 2023 – Spring Fine Arts Show – Market Street is hosting its annual Spring Fine Arts Show, featuring amateur and professional artists to showcasing their paintings, photography, jewelry, metal works, sculptures, digital art, mixed media and other works of art, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm in Central Park. May 13, 2023 – Earth Day Festival – Celebrate Earth Day with The Woodlands Township! Enjoy live entertainment, games, and meet local organizations that celebrate Earth Day, every day, in our community. May 21, 2023 – Bike the Woodlands Day Celebration – Bike The Woodlands Day, held at Northshore Park, celebrates National Bike Month. The event will feature exhibitors including local bike shops, bicycle clubs and other supporters of Bike Month. The event will also feature maintenance demonstrations, bike safety information, children’s activities, a kids’ bike rodeo, food trucks, live music, and more. Attendees are encouraged to bike to the event! The first 250 bikers will receive a free Kona Ice snow cone. Learn More
