EfTA Announces Poster Competition Winner

CONROE, TX – Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) announced the winner of the 2022 SCI://TECH Wright’s Printing Poster Competition as Spencer Myers, a twelfth grader at The Woodlands College Park High School. Myers’ original artwork based on the theme ‘Solutions through Science’ was created as part of his Graphic Design & Illustration class taught by Jeffrey Badmington, and selected by a public vote. Myers will receive a $250 Student Achievement Award, and his design will appear on promotional materials for the 2022 SCI://TECH Exposition, which kicks off in January.

SCI://TECH is a collaboration between Education for Tomorrow Alliance, Conroe ISD, The John Cooper School, and other area private schools that encourages scientific exploration. SCI://TECH’s 13 science, technology, engineering, and math competitions and events will take place over several weekends between January 21 and March 5, 2022. SCI://TECH features the Chevron Phillips Chemical Senior High and the Entergy Junior High Science Fairs on January 27 with more than 1,000 students registered to participate.
