Education for Tomorrow Alliance was created in 1989 as a project of the The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and local science and technology professionals who wanted to encourage the next generation of workers, especially in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Education for Tomorrow Alliance eventually became a separate 501(c)(3) with the focus of connecting business and community volunteers to empower tomorrow’s adults.

The mission of Education for Tomorrow Alliance is to cultivate education and community partnerships that advance student success. EfTA fulfills this mission through Career Connections, Future Focus, Next Generation Leadership, the SCI://TECH Exposition, and the Student Internship Program all designed to give local students hands on learning opportunities in the STEM fields and beyond.
