[October 3, 2023] Spend a fun-filled evening with your neighbors, local law enforcement, and fire department, hosted by the Conroe Police Department. National Night Out is a nationwide initiative to fight crime by hosting community-driven, family-friendly events. The Conroe Police Department will be hosting a Youth Citizen’s Police Academy for Conroe area youth between the ages of 16 to 18 years of age. The applicants must be a student and in good standing with the community. Enrollment in the Criminal Justice program is NOT a requirement.

The Youth Academy is designed to give area youth a “behind-the-scenes” working knowledge of the various aspects of the law enforcement community. It will cover topics such as Basic Patrol, Patrol Practical Application, Crime Scene Investigation, Criminal Investigations, Patrol K-9, and SWAT. The deadline for applications is October 06, 2023.
