Family Fun and Under the Sea activities at The Pavilion’s annual Children’s Festival

By  |

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion transformed into a giant playground on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13 for the annual Children’s Festival titled “Under the Sea” presented by Texas Children’s Hospital-The Woodlands.

With performers on multiple stages, character meet and greets with The Octonauts and PJ Masks, a special toddler area just for the youngest festival-goers, arts and crafts, hands-on activities and active adventures, there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy along this epic journey around the venue.

Children and their families discovered the inner-workings of some of the best trucks, tractors and automobiles that The Woodlands area has to offer at “Transit Trench” and then could ride The Pavilion’s Underwater Express – a train ride experience full of exploratory surprises. Adventure Abyss had exciting outdoor activities including inflatable bumper cars, rock climbing walls, and obstacle courses. Pepsi Main Marina offered beach barrel painting, fun activities, and a wide variety of performances on the Community Stage. At the top of The Pavilion hill, aka Hill Harbor, kids experienced giant bubble play with The Texas Bubblers, build and fly their own kite, dig for buried treasure and participate in parachute races down the lawn… and much more at festival. Admission was $10 per person and included all performances and activities.
