Holly Jolly Jingle at the Pavilion
THE WOODLANDS, TX – On Thursday, December 5, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion held the Holly Jolly Jingle, a free festive event that included a musical celebration of the season with local student performers and fun winter activities for all ages. The event was sponsored by KPMG and Woodforest National Bank.
The Pavilion Main Stage featured performances of familiar holiday medleys by the student musicians of Conroe High School, The Woodlands High School, Oak Ridge High School and The Woodlands College Park High School as well as the Sam Houston State University Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir. The audience had an opportunity to sing along to classic seasonal tunes with a jolly elf and Santa himself at this local favorite holiday celebration.
Concertgoers jumped aboard the Candy Cane Express train in the Gold Lot starting to ride to the front gates. A winter wonderland greeted guests with holiday arts and crafts, photos with Santa Claus and pre-concert performances by Conroe High School, The Woodlands High School, The Woodlands College Park High School, Knox Junior High and York Junior High in the plazas. The Conroe High School Jazz Ensemble also provided pre-show entertainment from the pit in front of the Main Stage.
