THE WOODLANDS, TX — Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital rang in the New Year with its first newborn delivery of the year. Benjamin Cole Fulcher arrived New Year’s Day at 8:53 a.m. weighing seven pounds, one ounce, and measuring 19 3/4 inches long.

Proud parents Kylie and Jacob Fulcher of Spring were happy to introduce Benjamin to his three-and-a-half-year-old big sister, Braelynn, who had been patiently awaiting his arrival.

“Benjamin is a wonderful New Year’s present!” said Kylie. “We think he looks a lot like his sister.”

Proud parents Jacob and Kylie Fulcher of Spring rang in the New Year with the arrival of Benjamin Cole Fulcher born at 8:53 a.m. weighing seven pounds, one ounce, and measuring 19 ¾ inches long at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

While mom Kylie had the privilege of choosing a unique name for their daughter, dad Jacob had the honor for his son and said he chose the name Benjamin because he wanted more of an old-fashioned, traditional name.

The new bundle of joy marks the fourth grandchild for David Duke of Spring. “He’s is my second grandson,” said the grandfather. “What a great way to start the New Year!”
