Judge Keough shared that the spike in cases reported yesterday, July 15, was the result from backlog cases, accumulated over the past month, in Montgomery County that are now being reported.

Judge Keough stated that in talking with the Montgomery County Public Health District, he has committed the resources of Montgomery County to help make the calls, facilitate correct reporting, and develop better processes. Additional paid personnel have been added and processes have been turned over to the Fire Marshalls and medical professionals.

Judge Keough encouraged the community to continue wearing masks, washing hands, use hand sanitizer, practice social distancing, and follow safe practices and COVID-19 guidelines to keep the county open.
