Montgomery County Food Bank Announces 2022 Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Montgomery County Food Bank today announced its annual Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala, presented by Woodforest National Bank, will take place Saturday, April 2, 2022 at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. The premier fundraising event’s proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs and the thousands of food insecure children, families and seniors it serves. Every dollar raised will provide five meals to those in need in Montgomery County.

The 2022 Gala’s theme is “One For The Records,” spotlighting the record-breaking work of the Food Bank, its volunteers, and community partners in 2020 and 2021. In 2020 alone, the Food Bank served over 11 million meals to an average of 65,000 people per month. Montgomery County Food Bank’s 2020 and 2021 Galas were not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Ann K. Snyder, who serves on both the Montgomery County Food Bank’s and The Woodlands Township’s Board of Directors, will serve as Honorary Chair of the event alongside Gala Chair, Amy Hollie.

“It is a true privilege to serve as Honorary Chair for the Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala,” said Dr. Ann K. Snyder. “Having served on the Food Bank’s Board of Directors, I’ve witnessed the steadfast passion and inspiring works of the Food Bank first-hand. I look forward to working alongside Amy and the committee to raise much needed funds for the people we serve.”
