Montgomery County Judge Keough issues Voluntary Evacuation Order for Flood Prone areas

On May 2 at 6:00 p.m. Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough shared an update that he has issued a Voluntary Evacuation Order for Flood Prone areas.

“I have issued a voluntary evacuation order for flood prone areas in River Plantation, Mosswood, Woodloch, and the Idle Wilde/Idle Glen areas. If you live in these areas, you are encouraged to evacuate as we are expecting another 10-12 feet of rise in the river over the next several hours. Shelters are available in The Woodlands, Cleveland, and Montgomery at this time. Pets are welcomed at all shelters.”
