Montgomery County Sheriff’s Operation Blue Elf
Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, partners and the community joined together for the 4th Annual Community Christmas Toy Drive, “Operation Blue Elf.”
Members of the community donated new, unwrapped toys at drop off locations throughout Montgomery County to help to make Christmas better for local children in need. Community partners also worked to identify children, infants to early teenagers that are in need of Santa and his Blue Elf helpers this year.

On December 19, the selected children had the opportunity to participate in Operation Blue Elf by going through the drive-thru stations and picking up preselected toys.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office shared that, “The expressions of excitement and appreciation on the children’s faces made it all worth it” and their deepest gratitude to the sponsors, community partners, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Alumni Association, and volunteers who helped to make this Operation Blue Elf a huge success for the children.
