Santa makes a special visit to Memorial Hermann NICU in The Woodlands

By  |

The most precious patients at the Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center were honored to have a special, early visit from Santa on December 16th. The babies in the Richard Rivas, MD Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) were treated to a special night full of fun and memorable experiences for their parents, siblings, and extended families.

Siblings were treated to presents from a former NICU family, Stephanie Laskoskie, who hosted a local toy drive to collect for the NICU families in need. Additionally, Timbercreek Elementary School Student Council put together countless “busy bags” for siblings, and former NICU mom Paige Wolf provided sweet treats!

Santa even brought his Reindeer from Pets with a Mission and Mrs. Claus, who is a NICU cuddler when she isn’t at the North Pole. Holidays can be especially challenging for parents with kiddos in the hospital, so opportunities to create fun memories like photos with Santa – are just what the doctor ordered.
