Santa Surprise Appearance with Real Reindeer at The Woodlands Children’s Museum
Santa recently tweeted from his sleigh-phone that he and his reindeer will be visiting The Woodlands Children’s Museum to make holiday memories and pose for pictures on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 8:00am – 10:00am during Santa’s Morning Jingle.

During the past several years, the museum’s annual Santa event has provided a unique holiday experience that allows families to celebrate the season with a warm breakfast, music, art, and entertainment.
This year, Santa’s Morning Jingle will include a framed photo with Santa, visit with live reindeer, homestyle breakfast, snow play, meet and greet with Olaf from Frozen, treats from our candy bar, a gift bag from Santa’s workshop, and performances from Joe McDermott, an award-winning children’s singer/songwriter visiting from Austin, Texas. Children will also be able to create a holiday art project in The Muse art bar.
“This event has grown each year and really includes something for everyone,” stated Angela Colton, the museum’s Executive Director. “It’s wonderful to see families playing and making magical memories together.”
Santa’s Morning Jingle will take place from 8:00am – 11:00am, with reindeer visits ending at 10:00am so they can head back to the North Pole. Tickets are $30 per child and $15 for adults. Limited tickets are on sale now at www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org. The museum will be closed to the public and open for event-only admission on Saturday, December 11 from 8:00am – 11:00am. The museum will re-open for public hours from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.

Museum staff called the North Pole to thank Santa for visiting, but his CEO (Chief Elf Officer) said he was extremely busy this time of year. Luckily his wife, Mrs. Claus, was at home and stated that she was happy Santa decided to stop by the museum and she can’t wait for her own visit later in the week during “Mrs. Claus’ Gingerbread House Workshops” on Wednesday, December 15th and Saturday, December 18th. She looks forward to posing for pictures and visiting with children as they decorate their gingerbread houses.
