By  |

On March 1, 2019, at about 12:10 AM, Deputies with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Grogan’s Square Shopping Center located at 25200 Grogan’s Mill Rd. in the Woodlands, Texas, in reference to multiple broken windows at several stores. When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived, they discovered several businesses had been burglarized.

Deputies began to check the shopping centers in the surrounding area and located several stores that had been burglarized in the Woodridge Shopping Center. When Deputies pulled up to the Woodridge Shopping Center, two males ran from two of the burglarized stores. Deputies were able to apprehend the two males that ran from the store as well as their look out, located in a getaway vehicle. All three males were placed in custody for the burglaries.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives assigned to The Woodlands Division responded to the scene and were able to recover numerous items of evidence which were taken from the burglarized businesses. During the investigation, Detectives discovered that a fourth male was involved in the burglaries. Detectives located the fourth suspect and obtained a confession.

Sheriff Henderson commends the great teamwork between patrol and detectives in this investigation which led to the arrests of these criminals and the recovery and return of property to the owners. The quick thinking by patrol deputies to check surrounding businesses was a great contribution to this investigation. All four males arrested are from Harris County and were charged with engaging in organized crime and burglary of a building.

The suspects (left to right) are identified as Kevin Powell (DOB 03/05/01), Nicholas Wayne Fruit (DOB 01/28/98), Parker Belless (DOB 03/26/99), and Jakob Blanco (DOB 01/30/01).
