On October 31, 2020, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office held its 4th Annual “Sharing is Caring” Food Drive. With the help of multiple agencies, volunteers and community partners, over 13,000 pounds of food, hygiene, and household supplies were donated as well as $18,168 in financial donations were collected and given to Mission Northeast. All donations support Mission Northeast and the community it serves, which is 11 zip codes, mostly the East Montgomery County area.

Sheriff Rand Henderson states, “These boots on the ground events are invaluable to ensuring that those less fortunate receive the things they need during this pandemic. I couldn’t be more proud of the selfless efforts of all those involved who made this event a success for our local community.”
