Sheriff’s Office arrests Individual for Delivery of Controlled Substance causing Overdose Death

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Livingston man in connection with the overdose death of a Montgomery County resident.

On May 6, 2025, deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence on Fair Manor Circle [in The Woodlands] and found a 44-year-old man deceased. An autopsy by the Montgomery County Forensic Center determined the cause of death was an overdose of illegal narcotics.

The Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team (MOCONET) launched an investigation and identified 32-year-old Anthony Flores of Livingston, Texas, as the individual who provided the drugs to the victim.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Flores, and he was taken into custody on August 12, 2025. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Causing Death.

MOCONET is a multi-agency task force that includes the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Walker County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety-CID, Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. These agencies work collaboratively to combat drug distribution in the area.
