The South County 4th of July Committee is proud to announce Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital as the presenting sponsor for this year’s event. The 49th Annual South County 4th of July Parade, which will take place on July 4th in The Woodlands Market Street, is set to be an unforgettable experience, featuring fire engines, floats, marching bands, military units, horses, and much more.

The 4th of July Parade is an annual patriotic event that brings together thousands of participants, volunteers and spectators that fosters unity and pride. In recognition of the recent congressional action officially naming the Bald Eagle as the National Bird, this year’s parade theme is “Wings of Liberty: Celebrating the Bald Eagle”. Bald Eagles are a historical symbol of the United States representing independence, strength, courage and patriotism.

About the South County 4th of July Committee, Inc.
The South County Fourth of July Committee is a 501(c)(3) corporation funded by community donations and sponsorships, comprised of dedicated volunteers responsible for the annual 4th of July Parade in The Woodlands area. The parade was originally organized by The Woodlands Lions Club in the late 1970’s before the formation of The South County Fourth of July Committee in the early 1990’s. The Committee has provided over $98,000 in high school band scholarships.
