Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the latest in robotic-assisted, non-invasive surgery – the dV5 (da Vinci 5), the fifth generation soft tissue robotic surgery platform from Intuitive Surgical.

Memorial Hermann Health System is the first to bring this leading-edge technology to the communities of Greater Houston and this is the first dV5 in The Woodlands and Montgomery County. This is further evidence of Memorial Hermann’s commitment to advancing patient care, now and for generations to come.

Gynecologist Gregory Eads, MD was the first affiliated physician to use the new technology at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.
