Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands celebrates Patient Experience Week
Today, April 29, Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands celebrated Patient Experience Week with a special superhero-themed event “Heart in Action, Superpowers at Work!” in the main lobby. At the event, Texas Children’s health professionals and volunteers connected with patients and their families and had the opportunity to meet superheroes and enjoy live music, a fire truck, popcorn and games.

Felicity Perret from Texas Children’s shared, “Patient Experience Week at Texas Children’s The Woodlands is both a celebration and a reflection of our commitment to going beyond medical care to create moments of comfort and connection for patients and families. It highlights how our teams work together every day to ensure that care is delivered with compassion, intention, and a deep focus on the human experience.”
“We do this because every child and family deserves to feel supported and cared for at every step of their journey. Guided by our HEART values, physicians, nurses, staff, and volunteers are dedicated to making each interaction meaningful – building trust, showing respect, and ensuring that patient – and family-centered care remains at the heart of everything we do at Texas Children’s The Woodlands.”
