Texas Children’s Teddy Bear Clinic offers children a creative way to prepare for a hospital visit
A Teddy Bear Clinic was hosted by the Child Life Department at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands this past Saturday, March 28.
At the Teddy Bear Clinic, children received a free teddy bear donated by Bank of America and had the opportunity to perform a checkup for their new friend. The community-wide event helped children and their families prepare for their visit to the hospital.
The event also featured a “Sensory Hour” reserved for sensory-sensitive children and families seeking lower stimulation and fewer crowds.
