The Art Dash Party Returns Friday, April 8th to Celebrate an Abundance of Art
THE WOODLANDS, TX – A dashingly elegant evening of celebrating art in abundance will take place on Friday, April 8th with the Art Dash Party, presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy. As a prelude to the Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival set for the weekend of April 9 & 10, the popular Art Dash Party will sparkle with a room of festival artists and art lovers from 6 pm to 10 pm at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.
The highlight of the evening is the exciting and always entertaining 60-Second Art Dash, in which ticket holders have the opportunity to quickly dash to select a coveted original art piece donated by the festival’s fine artists. The party also features scrumptious light bites, adult beverages, and live acoustical music … presenting the perfect ambiance for festive mingling and power networking.
An original oil-on-metal triptych painting measuring four feet wide and six feet tall entitled “Celebrating Abundance” created by featured this year’s artist Guilloume will be live auctioned along with other exciting items. Funds raised at the Art Dash Party from the live auction and ticket sales will generously benefit The Woodlands Arts Council’s Student Art Scholarship Program.
Haley Garcia, chair of the Art Dash Party and board member of The Woodlands Arts Council, said, “We are anticipating a magical evening that is filled with celebrating a shared appreciation of art and its impact on our community.
