Junior League of The Woodlands Welcomes Jenna Bush Hager as 14th Annual IMPACT Conference Speaker

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Junior League of The Woodlands (JLTW) is proud to announce Jenna Bush Hager as the 2022 IMPACT Keynote Speaker on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Jenna Bush Hager is a six-time bestselling author, co-host of TODAY with Hoda and Jenna, leader of the TODAY book club, #ReadWithJenna, and an editor-at-large for Southern Living magazine. During IMPACT 2022 she will share her personal experiences as a teacher, humanitarian aid worker, and correspondent.

Hager began her professional career as a teacher in a Washington D.C. charter school. She went on to serve with UNICEF providing humanitarian aid traveling throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Hager continues to raise awareness with UNICEF as Chair of Next Generation, an initiative dedicated to reducing preventable childhood deaths. Hager has witnessed the harrowing plight children face around the world without access to basic needs and education. She believes everyone can profoundly impact the lives of others and seeks to deliver this inspirational message to her audience in a call to action to make a difference.

Hager has co-authored two children’s books with her mother, former First Lady Laura Bush, and three novels: Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope inspired by her service with UNICEF, Sisters First, a memoir co-authored with her sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, about growing up in the White House. Her 2020 release Everything Beautiful In Its Time: Seasons of Love and Loss is a collection of poignant stories about her beloved grandparents who taught her about respect, humility, kindness, and living a life of passion and meaning—timeless lessons that continue to guide her.

For over a decade, Junior League of The Woodlands’ IMPACT has partnered with over a dozen school districts and numerous private schools to Increase and Motivate Positive Awareness in Children and Teachers (IMPACT) through this annual speaker-centered conference.

Texas Educators are eligible to earn 4 continuing education credits for attending the IMPACT 2022 virtual event. The online room will open at 8:30 a.m. and the keynote presentation will commence at 9:00 AM, followed by a Q&A session.

Admission to IMPACT is free and open to the public. All participants must register by Friday, March 4th to receive the login information.
