The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership announces 2024-2025 Officers and Board of Directors

The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) held its Annual Meeting on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Gil Staley, Chief Executive Officer, provided an organizational overview of accomplishments for the past fiscal year.

At the Annual Meeting, Christin Allphin of Woodforest National Bank and Nominating Committee Chair, announced the newly appointed officers and board members for the 2024-2025 term. The outgoing 2023-2024 board members were recognized for their contributions: Jennifer Bailey, Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands; Scott Castleman, LSG; Jud Miller, PlainsCapital Bank; Pierce Prater, CenterPoint Energy; and Zach Richmond, Richmond Realty Group.

On August 22, 2024, partners and guests attended a reception at The Club at Carlton Woods to celebrate the success of the organization this past year led by Chairman of the Board, Jim Parisi of St. Luke’s Health The Woodlands Hospital.

“As we conclude another successful fiscal year, we were excited to host our Annual Meeting and Partner Celebration, reflecting on the progress we’ve made together. These events not only mark the close of our year but also serve as an opportunity to honor our achievements and strengthen the partnerships that drive economic development in our community,” said Gil Staley, CEO of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership.

Effective September 1, 2024, the newly appointed 2024-2025 officers include Chairman, Whitney Wall with Wells Fargo; Vice Chairman, Dan Michalk with Waterway Wealth Management; Secretary, Bret Strong with The Strong Firm P.C.; Treasurer, Shane Frugé with Northwestern Mutual and Immediate Past Chairman, Jim Parisi with St. Luke’s Health The Woodlands Hospital.
