The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership hosts Partner Luncheon featuring Commissioner Ritch Wheeler
The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) held its Annual Partner Luncheon at The Woodlands Resort on Thursday, January 9, 2025 featuring Montgomery County, Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler. The luncheon was sponsored by Ellard Insurance and Risk Management, Heightened Leaders, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, Rice Business Executive Education, Richmond Realty Group, The City of Oak Ridge North, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, The Woodlands Township and Winstead PC. EDP Board Member and Chairman of The Woodlands Township Board of Directors, Brad Bailey, served as moderator for a fireside chat with Commissioner Wheeler.
Commissioner Wheeler provided the group of community leaders with an overview of plans for supporting the county’s projects and residents. He also shared perspectives gained in his past public service experience. Since moving to Montgomery County with his wife, Laura, in 2009, he has actively contributed to his community, serving the City of Shenandoah in numerous capacities, including on the Civic Club, Planning and Zoning Board, Municipal Development District, and as Mayor from 2016-2022.

The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic development of The Woodlands Area through the support of existing businesses and the recruitment of new businesses that can bring job opportunities and capital investment to the area.
