The Woodlands Area EDP honors Elected Officials

By  |

The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) held its 26th annual Elected Officials Reception at The Club at Carlton Woods on Thursday, March 14. The annual event honors our elected officials for their commitment and service to our community, state, and nation. Our EDP partners joined us to show their appreciation to our special guests and their staff at the local, county, state, and federal levels.

In addition to honoring the elected officials in attendance, a special presentation was made by the Boy Scouts of America – Sam Houston Area Council, George Strake District to honor Jim Carman, EDP Partner and former Cub Scout with the Good Scout Award. This award recognizes long-standing community leaders who exemplify the values and ideals of scouting and are chosen for their outstanding community service, as evidenced by their leadership to many worth-while organizations, as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues.
