The band is comprised of members from a wide range of backgrounds and ages.

The Woodlands Concert Band has been honored to play at the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention, and the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago. The band was awarded the prestigious Sudler Silver Scroll Award in 2021 which identifies, recognizes, and honors those community bands that have demonstrated particularly high standards of excellence in concert activities over a period of several years, and which have played a significant and leading role in the cultural and musical environment in their respective communities.
