The Woodlands Fire Department responds to fire at Indian Springs H-E-B

At 6:52 a.m. this morning, May 29, 2025, The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a reported fire at the Indian Springs H-E-B located at 10777 Kuykendahl.
“On arrival, firefighters were directed to the meat market where a fire in a ventilation fan had been extinguished by employees. Firefighters confirmed that the fire was out and de-energized the unit. Fire cause was an electrical short and damage confined to the ventilation unit. H-E-B staff did an excellent job in evacuating customers and employees from the store prior to our arrival and then putting the fire out. The store is now back to normal operations.”
