The Woodlands Hills Honors its First 50 Founding Families

CONROE, TX — The Howard Hughes Corporation honored its first 50 founding families in The Woodlands Hills during a dedication ceremony held on Saturday, December 7, with a tree dedicated in their honor, complete with an individual plaque bearing the family name. The Woodlands Hills is Houston’s newest master planned community in Conroe and Willis, located 13 miles north of The Woodlands. The Woodlands Hills joins The Woodlands and Bridgeland as one of the award-winning master planned communities in the portfolio of The Howard Hughes Corporation.

Represensentatives from The Howard Hughes Corporation, the homeowners association for The Woodlands Hills, along with founding families and fellow neighbors were in attendance at The Founders Club Tree Dedication Ceremony.

The Founders Club was established to honor the first 100 families. An additional dedication ceremony honoring the next 50 residents with be held in the first quarter of 2020. With trees dedicated to these first families, the 17-acre nature-laced park bears the name Founders Park.

Founders Park is also home to The Woodlands Hills architecturally stunning 10,600-square-foot indoor/outdoor Activity Center. The center features a yoga lawn and an event lawn; state-of-the-art fitness center; a zero-entry, interactive community pool with a lazy river, lap lanes, sunning decks and shade structures over portions of the pool and cabana. Also featured are tennis courts, a dog park, connected hiking trails, and dedicated bike lanes along the major thoroughfares.

Following the tree dedication ceremony, residents and guests enjoyed a live dinner concert by country music artist Pauline Reese at the Activity Center. These House Concerts are part of a series of concerts, offering intimate performances in The Woodlands Hills.
