THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands has been ranked the fourth Best City to Live in America for 2019, according to Niche. Overall, The Woodlands received a grade of A+, based on several factors.

Niche’s Best Cities to Live ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall livability of an area. This rank takes into account several key factors of a location, including the quality of local schools based on key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education. Other sources, such as the U.S. Census, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and CDC are considered. The ranking also includes crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics, and access to amenities in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area. Data is collected and analyzed from dozens of rankings factors from federal and local government datasets. The statistics represent the most recent data available. The reviews and data are scored and standardized so that each place is comparable.

The same methodology is used to produce the overall grade for each ranked place. Using this information, The Woodlands received its A+ grade.
