The Woodlands Township hosts 27th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions event
The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department hosted the 27th annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions event on Saturday, September 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, located at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77389. The free event was dedicated to promoting sustainable landscaping practices.

Organized by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, Woodlands Landscaping Solutions offered residents an opportunity to learn from experts on creating landscapes that are both beautiful and environmentally friendly. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with professionals on topics such as sustainable gardening, landscaping, lawn and tree care, and more. The event also included educational booths and fast-tracked compost classes inside The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.
Participants were encouraged to bring samples of any challenging plants for an on-site diagnosis and consult with experts for personalized advice. Visitors explored a variety of products available for purchase, including rain barrels, compost bins, local honey, and native plants.
Woodlands Landscaping Solutions allowed residents to enhance their gardening skills, adopt sustainable practices, and enjoy a day of learning and community engagement. The event also featured live music, a selection of native plants for sale, and engaging activities for children.
The 27th Annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions event was sponsored by Hogue Landscape Services LLC, Montgomery County Master Gardener Association, Waste Management, Woodlands Nursery, Woodlands Water and Woodlands G.R.E.E.N.
