The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute in Town Green Park

The Woodlands Township and members of the community joined together to honor military men and women at the Veterans Day Tribute on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 4:30 p.m. in Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380.

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute featured a presentation of colors by The Woodlands College Park High School JROTC, musical performances, a swearing ceremony for future soldiers, and guest speakers.

Township Director Bruce Rieser led the program and read the Veterans Day proclamation, Congressman Kevin Brady shared a speech, and Lt. Col. Barry Winnegan of the U.S. Army served as the keynote speaker.

A care package drop-off booth was on site to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops abroad.
