SCI://TECH Events (Now – Feb. 24)

Education for Tomorrow Alliance engages the business community with local private and public schools, offering 13 science, technology, engineering, and math competitions and events. SCI://TECH spans several weekends starting January 19. Some events are open to the public, including the Huntsman Elementary Science Festival which highlights hands-on experiments and family fun. Volunteers are needed for several activities, especially Expo Day on Saturday, February 10. Learn more about SCI://TECH activities here. Sign up as a science fair judge here.

Cars & Coffee for a Cause

The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-10:00am to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. All types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more are welcome. The Woodlands Car Club shares information about nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County, and gives back through donations to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program. Learn More

The 10th Annual Women Empowering Women event, benefiting the Interfaith Community Clinic, is a two-day luncheon and shopping experience at the stunning event venue, The Peach Orchard. The first day on February 6th is a SOLD OUT awards luncheon and VIP Philanthropy Market.

The second day – February 7th – is the Community Shopping day! The Peach Orchard’s main ballroom will be transformed into an additional market space, accommodating an even wider array of curated vendors hailing from across the county and the state. Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala (Feb. 17)

Montgomery County Food Bank’s Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala, presented by Woodforest National Bank, will take place Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 6:00-11:00pm at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. The premier fundraising event’s proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank and the food insecure children, families, and seniors we serve.

With the Food Bank’s strong buying and sourcing power, every $1 raised will provide up to 4 meals for those in need in Montgomery County! This year’s Gala is themed “On the Boardwalk” encouraging the community to “Step Right Up” and unite in the fight against hunger. The event’s attire is cocktail or boardwalk chic. Learn More
