Things To Know and 2025 Map for 4th of July Parade in The Woodlands
The 49th Annual South County 4th of July Parade presented by Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital in The Woodlands will be held on July 4, 2025 in Market Street in The Woodlands.
The grand patriotic event, the largest parade between Houston and Dallas, celebrates with fire engines, floats, marching bands, military units, and much more. The parade begins at 9:00 a.m., winding through The Woodlands Town Center and Market Street, with pre-parade entertainment starting at 8:00 a.m. in Market Street. Parade announcers, including Emcees located above the North Commons in Market Street will guide the event. A panel of Community Celebrity Parade Judges will select the best entries in ten award categories. This year’s theme, “Wings of Liberty: Celebrating the Bald Eagle,” honors the Bald Eagle as the U.S. National Bird, symbolizing independence, strength, courage and patriotism.
2025 4th of July Parade Schedule
- 7 to 11 a.m. – Roads around the parade are closed including, Grogan’s Mill at Riva Row, Grogan’s Mill at Evergreen Circle, Lake Robbins at Six Pines, Lake Woodlands at Six Pines, and Lake Front Circle at Lake Woodlands
- 8 a.m. – Live Music and Pre-Parade Entertainment starts in Market Street and Town Green Park
- 8:15 a.m. – Live Bald Eagle appearance presented by Last Chance Forever, Bird of Prey Conservancy includes a 20-minute presentation in Market Street. Learn more here.
- 8:50, 8:55 & 9 a.m. – Ready, Set, Go! Rolling Thunder Cannon Salute at Grogan’s Mill Rd. at Lake Woodlands Dr. Learn more here.
- 9 a.m. Parade starts at Grogan’s Mill Rd. at Lake Woodlands Dr. Parade Steps-off, led by Honorary Banner Bearers, Eagle Scouts, followed by the Grand Marshal, Dr. Ann K. Snyder. Learn more here.
- 9:10 a.m. – National Anthem performed at Town Green Park
- 9:20 a.m. – National Anthem performed in Market Street
- 10:25 a.m. Parade Finale in Market Street including Presentation of Colors and singing of “God Bless America”

The South County Fourth of July Committee is a 501(c)(3) corporation funded by community donations and sponsorships, comprised of dedicated volunteers responsible for the annual 4th of July Parade in The Woodlands area. The parade was originally organized by The Woodlands Lions Club in the late 1970’s before the formation of The South County Fourth of July Committee in the early 1990’s. The Committee has provided over $98,000 in high school band scholarships.
