Wine & Food Week announces Thursday’s Crushing It With Cocktails Winner

Wine & Food Week is in full swing in The Woodlands and on Thursday evening held it’s new “Crushing It With Cocktails” event at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

The brand-new Wine & Food Week event brought the heat with an epic tasting experience and a high-energy cocktail and mocktail competition. Attendees watched top mixologists battle it out while sipping and sampling innovative creations, bold flavors, and crowd-favorite classics. From craft cocktails to zero-proof masterpieces, this was a night to raise your glass and toast to the “best in the biz”. Attendees enjoyed tasting, voting, and celebrating the art of the perfect pour!

Afzal Kaba from the Houston restaurant Musaafer – the sophisticated eatery located in The Galleria that spotlights high-concept Indian dishes paired with wine – truly crushed it! He was awarded the Best in Glass and Crowd Crusher (aka People’s Choice) with his Harvey Milk Punch using Hanson’s Vodka and a Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc.
