Winner named for 2026 Wright’s Printing SCI://TECH Poster Competition

Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) is pleased to announce Alejandro “AJ” Hernandez, a 12th grader at Conroe High School, as the winner of the 2026 Wright’s Printing SCI://TECH Poster Competition. Mr. Hernandez’s original artwork was created as part of a Graphic Design & Illustration II class under the instruction of Ms. Stephanie Scaletta. It was inspired by the theme, “Dream. Discover. Design.”

After a selection process in which the Wright’s Printing team narrowed the field of entries, the winning design was selected through a public vote. Mr. Hernandez’s artwork will be featured on promotional materials for the 2026 SCI://TECH Exposition, which kicks off on January 16. In recognition of this achievement, AJ Hernandez will receive a $250 Student Achievement Award.

SCI://TECH is a collaborative initiative between Education for Tomorrow Alliance, Conroe ISD, The John Cooper School, and other area private schools that encourages scientific curiosity and exploration. The 2026 SCI://TECH Exposition will engage approximately 4,000 K–12 students in 12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) competitions and events held over multiple weekends from mid-January to the end of February..

SCI://TECH highlights include the Chevron Phillips Chemical Senior High and Entergy Junior High Science Fairs, scheduled for January 22, with nearly 500+ students registered to participate. These events are designed to inspire hands-on learning, innovation, and the next generation of STEM leaders. Volunteers can register or learn more at www.efta-us.org/scitech.
