12th Annual Conroe Job Fair Set to Connect Employers, Job Seekers

CONROE, TX – The 12th Annual Conroe Job Fair presented by the Conroe Economic Development Council (Conroe EDC) and the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber will be held Tuesday, January 23 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe. Job seekers can expect to discover careers in a variety of fields, including manufacturing, health care, hospitality, sales, human resources and more. 12th Annual Conroe Job Fair

The 2023 Conroe Job Fair welcomed more than 300 job seekers and 64 companies and organizations hiring for open positions. Numerous matches were made between employers and job seekers.

“The Conroe job fair has been critical in providing a connection between our local workforce and business community. The participating companies this year will offer another round of excellent opportunities for the qualified pool of job seekers expected to attend,” said Jennifer Matthews, Associate Director of the Conroe EDC.

Free workshops are available for job seekers looking to improve their candidacy for open positions. The workshops will be held on January 16 and January 18 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber. Workshops will cover resume writing and interview skills.

Job fair attendees will be able to apply to win a scholarship from Lone Star College upon check-in at the Job fair. The scholarships can be used to learn additional career skills or to enhance current skills needed to find a job.

ResourceMFG and Crown Cork & Seal are presenting sponsors of the job fair. Lone Star Convention & Expo Center is the facility sponsor. Lone Star College and Workforce Solutions are assisting Conroe EDC and Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber with execution of the event.
