“20 Dashing Years” Exhibition: The Woodlands Arts Council celebrates two decades of art, giving, and fun
The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) proudly presents “20 Dashing Years,” a special exhibition honoring the legacy of the Art Dash Party. Featuring a selection of winning pieces borrowed from past participants, this exhibition offers a unique retrospective of the impact and excitement of one of the most anticipated annual events. The exhibition will be on view from March 11 to May 8, 2025, at TWAC’s Gallery, with an opening reception on March 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
For two decades, the Art Dash Party has been a thrilling prelude to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, where guests DASH and claim their favorite piece of art in just one minute.
Curator Annette Palmer highlights the significance of this exhibition: “It showcases a wide array of art from a remarkable festival community of outstanding artists. This art is treasured by those who had to dash! Celebrating this 20-year milestone is essential, as it highlights the success and contributions this event has made to our community.”
This exhibition is a tribute to 20 Years of Making Art Matter, celebrating the incredible artists, passionate art lovers, and devoted partners who have supported The Woodlands Arts Council. It honors this milestone and reflects on the creativity, generosity, and shared experiences that have defined the Art Dash Party over the past two decades.
