February 2024 – Classes and Events at Ardest Gallery – Ardest Gallery, a local fine arts gallery curated by Gallery Director Julie Verville, represents nearly 40, top Texas 2D and 3D visual artists. In addition to its core artists, the gallery will host ongoing events such as monthly group art shows, Coffee Talk with an Artist, Art to Lunch in partnership with local restaurants, poetry readings, musical performances, and art classes/workshops for all ages and skill levels. February 2024 – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer – at no cost to you. February 16, 2024 – Economic Outlook Conference – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Outlook Conference (EOC) at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott & Convention Center is a highly anticipated conference for high-profile business leaders to gain insight and knowledge on the trajectory of our economy – and ways to prepare for the growth to come. February 17, 2024 – Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala – Montgomery County Food Bank’s Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala, presented by Woodforest National Bank, will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. The premier fundraising event’s proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank and the food insecure children, families, and seniors we serve. With the Food Bank’s strong buying and sourcing power, every $1 raised will provide up to 4 meals for those in need in Montgomery County. Purchase tickets

February 24, 2024 – Montgomery County Heart Ball – Join us at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott & Convention Center for the 2024 Montgomery County Heart Ball to celebrate our collective success in driving change, funding science and improving health – no matter where, or how, we gather. January 19 – February 24, 2024 – Education for Tomorrow Alliance’s SCI://TECH Exposition – Education for Tomorrow Alliance engages the business community with local private and public schools, offering 13 science, technology, engineering, and math competitions and events. SCI://TECH spans several weekends starting January 19. Some events are open to the public, including the Huntsman Elementary Science Festival which highlights hands-on experiments and family fun. February 4, 2024 – The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause – The Woodlands Car Club car enthusiasts gather at Market Street the first Sunday of each month from 6:30-10:00am to provide a fun and creative way to give back to our community. All types of cars/vehicles from classics, hot rods, exotics, and more are welcome. The Woodlands Car Club shares information about needful nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County, and gives back through donations to the Market Street “Change for Charities” program. February 10, 2024 – Community Tree Planting Event – Join The Woodlands Township for the 10th annual Community Tree Planting at Falconwing Park! Township staff and volunteers will work side by side to help reforest recently cleared areas of Falconwing Park. Staff have removed non-native vines and vegetation from multiple areas throughout the park to be replanted with native trees and shrubs to create habitat for pollinators and native wildlife. Be sure to sign up quick as there are a limited number of spots available for volunteers. Registration is required to participate in this event. Learn More

February 17, 2024 – Muddy Trails 5K – The Muddy Trails 5K is a multifaceted running event that features a chip-timed 5K and the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off. Participants enjoy boiled crawfish, live zydeco music, children’s activities and more. The course winds through the beautiful 1,800-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve. February 18 & 25, 2024 – Concert in the Park – Concert in the Park is a popular family tradition of music and fun for all ages! Concert in the Park features local bands playing a variety of favorites from pop and rock to country during the spring and fall. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs are permitted. February 23, 2024 – Hope Rising Conference – The 6th Annual Hope Rising Community Mental Health Conference is a vibrant gathering for the community, mental health professionals, and faith leaders, aimed at fostering dialogue and support around mental health and addiction. February 23, 2024 – Moonlight Paddle – Join Riva Row Boat House staff for this unique opportunity to see Lake Woodlands by moonlight – on a kayak! Kayaks will be decorated with lights to help illuminate the way. Participants will paddle out to Lake Woodlands and watch the moon rise over the water (weather permitting). February 24, 2024 – The Woodlands 5k & Family 2k – The Woodlands 5k & Family 2k, hosted by The Woodlands Marathon, invites individuals to run or walk the course that will traverse the streets of Town Center, cross Lake Woodlands and return to the finish line. Hello Woodlands, in partnership with Operation Pets Alive, highlights a “Pet of the Month” that features a local dog or cat available for foster and/or adoption in Montgomery County, Texas. Operation Pets Alive is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No-Kill community through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.
