September 18 – Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas – The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile race, 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run through The Woodlands will be held Saturday, September 18 from 7 to 11 a.m. These races are produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department. September 18 – The Lake House Grand Opening at Grand Central Park – Grand Central Park is celebrating the opening of The Lake House amenity complex from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 18, at 1039 Lake House Drive. Tours will be given of the 13-acre lakeside facility along with prizes, food by Pacific Yard House, games and more. Guests can register to win a kayak, fire pit, fitness basket and a Yeti 45 Tundra cooler. Learn more and register here

September 30 – October 1 –YMCA Dragon Boat Team Challenge – Registration is now open for the 22nd Annual YMCA Dragon Boat Team Challenge, presented by Repsol! The four-day event, scheduled for September 30 — October 3, will be held at Northshore Park in The Woodlands. Teams participate in a single 4-hour bracket, 8 a.m.—Noon or 2-6 p.m. Teams are encouraged to register early because limited spaces are available. Admission is free for spectators. Register here

YMCA Dragon Boat Races 2021

September – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – Canopy is open for classes and programs! Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer. If your life has been impacted, whether you were the patient or the caregiver, you have a safe haven at Canopy. Learn More

Thursday–Sunday – Local Farmer’s Markets – Visit a local farmer’s market in Montgomery County! Learn more about The Woodlands Farmer’s Market, Montgomery Sip-and-Stroll Farmer’s Market, Isaac Conroe Farmer’s Market, Tomball Farmer’s Market, Main Street Market, Shenandoah Farmers Market, and more on the Hello Woodlands Calendar. Learn more

September 1-30 – Montgomery County Food Bank Mobile Markets – Mobile Markets are temporary drive thru distribution centers where pre-packaged bags of groceries will be provided to Montgomery County residents in need, while supplies last. Residents can drive up to the Mobile Market, stay in their car, and MCFB’s partner agencies and trained volunteers will load the groceries safely into their car. Learn more

September 2 – Two Artists, Two Solo Exhibitions – Join Glade Gallery on Thursday, September 2 at 6:30 p.m. for two Houston artists each with a solo exhibition! The exhibits feature artists Olga Porter and Jeanne Jones and are curated by Annette Palmer. Live music provided by Brazilian vocalist, Gisele Duque. Tour the art exhibits in the presence of the artists and enjoy complementary champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Learn more

September 2 –First Thursday Free Concert Series – Come out and relax to a live band playing at the First Thursday free concert series on Thursday, September 2 at Heritage Park in Conroe. Bring your chairs and blankets. Food trucks onsite. Food and beverages may be brought in. No glass containers. Band will start at 7:00 p.m. Come early and check out the Conroe Market from 6-8:30 p.m.Learn more

September 4 – GreenUp: Fall Sweep – Help keep The Woodlands looking clean and green! Join GreenUp: Fall Sweep, a Township-wide, self-guided, litter cleanup day. Gather your family and ready your gloves, bags and outdoor gear for a day of community beautification.Learn more

September 5 – Cars and Coffee for a Cause – Those who like their morning coffee with a side of fast cars will be pleased to know that The Woodlands Car Club is bringing its monthly Cars & Coffee for a Cause back to Market Street the first Sunday of each month. In addition to providing a great way to check out beautiful automobiles, the event also raises money for local charities as part of Market Street’s Change for Charity program. Learn more

September 5 – Labor Day in The Woodlands – Celebrate Labor Day in The Woodlands! Relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor at Waterway Square on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. with live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainment, pie eating contests and fireworks! Learn more

September 10 – Shootout Hunger Sporting Clays Tournament – Montgomery County Food Bank is hosting its ninth annual “Shootout Hunger” sporting clays tournament fundraiser on September 10 at Blackwood Gun Club, open to both shooters and non-shooters. The tournament will also feature an auction, raffle, team photos, awards ceremony, and breakfast and lunch for attendees. Every dollar the event raises provides five meals to those in need.Learn more

September 11 – First Responders Day and Patriot Day of Remembrance in The Woodlands

  • 3 to 5 p.m. – The Woodlands Township will host First Responders Day in The Woodlands at Town Green Park from 3 – 5 p.m. to recognize and thank the brave first responders who are first on the scene in an emergency. First Responders Day will feature live music beginning at 3 p.m., along with speakers, food vendors and more! Free Chick-fil-A will be given out to the first 100 First Responders to show their badge or ID at the event. Learn More
  • 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. – Earlier in the day, Patriot Day of Remembrance will be held at The Woodlands Fire Department Central Station from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. to honor the men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

September 11 – September 11 Remembrance Ceremony – The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission along with the Montgomery County Fire Chief Association and TUFF is commemorating the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and the subsequent loss of firefighters at the World Trade Center. The event will gather at 8 a.m. towards the North end of the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park at the First Responder Flag.Learn more

September 12, 19 & 26 – Concert in the Park – Concert in the Park is a popular family tradition of music and fun for all ages Sundays at Northshore Park from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.Learn more

September 17 – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon – The Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Shenandoah and recognize member anniversaries, Board Members, Team Leaders, Diplomat of the Year, Community Citizen of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Top Influencer Under 40, Chairman’s Award and a special Legacy Award Recipient. Learn more

September 18 – Pirate ‘n Mermaid Day – Board The Woodlands Children’s Museum’s version of the Jolly Roger and keep a close eye out for treasure and mermaids! Land-ho; navigate your way through the museum with your best peg-legs and fancy tails to find the hidden treasure! Meet and greet with Ariel at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Learn more

September 18 –Community Assistance Center Duck Race – The CAC Duck Race is a family friendly community fundraising event benefiting Community Assistance Center. This year, approximately 8,000 rubber racing ducks will tumble, splash, bob, and slosh down the lazy river at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures, racing to the finish line to win “QUACK”tacular prizes for their adopters!Learn more

September 18 – Groovfest – Peace and love . . . it’s GroovFest in downtown Tomball! This year you’ll flash back to the days of Buddy Holly, the Doors, and the Beatles at this award winning festival. Groovy games, far-out foods, and magical music from the summer of love.Learn more

September 18 – Denim & Diamonds Gala – The 13th Annual Denim & Diamonds gala will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and all proceeds from the gala directly support the scholarships at Inspiration Ranch to help children overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges and reach new goals through the use of one of God’s remarkable gifts, the horse. This year, Inspiration Ranch will honor The Howard Hughes Company and Gary Packer. Learn more

September 20 – Fore Our Neighbors Golf Tournament – Enjoy a day of golf, dinner, and awards at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course at Interfaith’s “Fore Our Neighbors: Golf Classic. Proceeds benefit the community programs of both Interfaith of The Woodlands and Interfaith Community Clinic.Learn more

September 21 – International Day of Prayer and Action – Join Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County on Tuesday, September 21st at 10 a.m. at Cedar Crossing Ct. in Conroe for International Day of Prayer and Action! International Day of Prayer and Action is a day where we come together in faith to pray for the health of Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County. People of all faiths are welcome to join Habitat for Humanity as they cover the Cedar Creek Subdivision in prayer and blessings. Learn more

September 25 – Revival Pop-Up with Experience ELLE – Join Experience ELLE on Saturday, September 25 at HeBrews Coffeehouse for an evening encompassing times of worship, prayer, ministering from the Bible, as well as an application of the Word as it relates to education on mental health awareness, suicide awareness, and suicide survivorship. September 25 – Woodlands Landscaping Solutions – Hosted by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, come learn how to tap into nature at this FREE garden event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. Learn tips and techniques from experts that will make your landscape a water-wise and earth-friendly oasis. Learn from gardening experts, visit booths and demonstrations, and more. Learn more

September 25 – Fernland Historical Park Dedication Anniversary Celebration – Fernland Historical Park is one of the many important treasures located in Historic Montgomery TX. The 10th anniversary celebration will feature games for children, a reunion of descendants of the original owners of the various buildings, new artifacts and documents available for viewing, knowledgeable volunteers in period costume, and so much more.Learn more

September 25 – Fall Fine Arts Show – Professional and amateur artists will display paintings, photography, metal-works, sculptures, pottery and more at Market Street’s popular outdoor Fall Fine Arts Show scheduled for Saturday, September 25 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.Learn more

September 25 – Arts in the Park featuring Shakespeare in the Park – Enjoy an evening with family and friends at Rob Fleming Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring lawn chairs, grab a bite to eat at the food trucks and enjoy a FREE live Shakespeare theatre performance of Othello by Points North Theatre Company and The Woodlands Jazz Orchestra. September 29 – WISE Conference – The WISE Conference is designed to to help Women Inspire, Support, and Empower each other in a fun, upbeat networking environment and will cater to professionals with a desire to learn more about work-life balance through motivational speakers and educational demonstrations. The 2021 Wise Conference is also hosting a Virtual Speaker Series leading up to the In-Person Conference.Learn more
