5 Ways to Celebrate Mardi Gras in The Woodlands Area

Tuesday, March 5 is Mardi Gras, but there’s no need to head to New Orleans! Here are 5 ways to celebrate right here in The Woodlands area.

February 9 – Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball – It’s a Mardi Gras celebration at the Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at the Spring Chateau, 4010 FM 2920, Spring, Texas 77388. Put on your best Mardi Gras or party attire and get ready celebrate!

February 16 – Mardi Gras Brunch – Join Jack and Jill of America, Inc., The Woodlands Chapter for a Saturday morning brunch at the Westin Waterway Hotel. Enjoy the rich taste of Louisiana cuisine, amazing music, a silent auction and raffle, and a great time. The brunch supports Love Fosters Hope, Jack & Jill of America, and the event will provide academic grants to college bound high school seniors in the Montgomery County area.

February 23 – Mardi Gras at Unity Park – Head to the City of Magnolia for live music from The Zydeco Dots, vendors, crawfish, a Cajun cook-off, and an umbrella parade.

March 5 – Mardi Gras on The Woodlands Waterway – Grab your beads, put on a mask and get ready for a party! Enjoy live Zydeco music by Raa-Raa & Da Zydeco Allstarz, dancing, seafood and po’ boys at Nick’s Fish Dive & Oyster Bar.

March 5 – Mardi Gras at The Woodlands Children’s Museum – The celebration will take place 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with parade times at 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Enjoy a piece of King Cake upon exiting, donated by Montgomery Bakehouse.
