Constable Pct. 3 Detectives make arrest in Child Abuse Case

By  |

On July 8, 2025, Constable Ryan Gable’s Precinct 3 Safe Harbor detectives, in collaboration with Child Protective Services (CPS) and the U.S. Marshals Task Force, arrested Angelys Marie Del Valle – Pagan in connection with a serious child abuse case. The investigation started on June 8, 2025, when a CPS supervisor informed detectives about a report of suspected physical abuse involving a 7-year-old child. Pct. 3 Detectives carried out an investigation and established probable cause to charge Angelys with Injury to a Child, a third-degree felony. Pct. 3 Detectives initiated the process to file a warrant for Angelys’s arrest and found out that she had taken the child victim.

The U.S. Marshal’s Office Violent Offenders Taskforce aided in the search for the 7-year-old child and successfully located both the child victim, a second child aged 2, and Angelys in Stafford, Texas. Angelys was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Office. The child victim and the second child, were placed under the care of CPS and received medical attention.

This case is still under investigation with the possibility of additional charges pending. Constable Gable expresses gratitude to all agencies involved, including Child Protective Services, the U.S. Marshals Office, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, and Children’s Safe Harbor, for their prompt response and commitment to safeguarding vulnerable children.
