All Ears! Center Celebrates Successful Expansion Campaign and Welcomes Four New Board Members

By  |

All Ears! Center proudly announces the successful conclusion of its expansion campaign, made possible through the extraordinary generosity of its donors. Every gift to this campaign helped turn vision into reality, allowing All Ears! Center to expand facilities, add new services, and reach more families than ever before. Thanks to this community support, All Ears! Center has now served more than 2,000 children and has expanded services to include adult audiology.

While the mission remains the same—to serve babies and children who are deaf and hard of hearing—the center now also provides state-of-the-art hearing technology for adults. This addition not only benefits adult patients by giving them the gift of hearing but also strengthens the children’s program through the purchase of shared technology. Win-Win: All Ears! All Ages!

In August, All Ears! Center’s Strategic Planning Committee met to map out the vision for the organization’s future, ensuring that more children will have the opportunity to HEAR and be HEARD. With a strong foundation built through this expansion and a clear direction forward, the organization is poised to make an even greater community impact in the coming years.

As the organization looks ahead to its next chapter, All Ears! Center also welcomes four new members to its Board of Directors: Charlotte Dawson, Robyn Schapiro, Robert Tise, and Gunner Vaught. Each brings diverse expertise and a shared commitment to supporting those with hearing loss.

Meet our New Board Members

Charlotte Dawson recently returned the U.S. after 18 years overseas. While living in Singapore, Charlotte served on the board of Friends of the Museums and guided tours for students, diplomats, and tourists. With both undergraduate and master’s degrees in architecture from Tulane University, Charlotte also brings a personal connection to

audiology through her father, an ENT physician. She is now pursuing a second master’s degree in World War II Studies and lives in The Woodlands.

Robyn Schapiro is a former petroleum geologist and lifelong advocate for individuals with hearing loss. Diagnosed with severe-to-profound hearing loss at age two, Robyn’s early education at the Central Institute for the Deaf gave her the tools to succeed in mainstream education and beyond. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and UC Santa Cruz, Robyn worked at ExxonMobil before dedicating her time to nonprofit service and advocacy. She is also a volunteer with Canine Companions and an advocate for accessibility and inclusion. Robyn lives in The Woodlands with her husband and two sons.

Robert Tise is the Director of Gulf Coast Trading at Expand Energy, with more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on natural gas marketing and trading. A graduate of Oklahoma State University with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, Robert’s commitment to hearing health stems from his own experience with sudden sensorineural hearing loss. He now resides in The Woodlands with his wife and two children and is passionate about raising awareness for hearing loss and access to audiological care.

Gunner Vaught, Vice President in the Energy & Marine division at Alliant Insurance Services, Inc., brings nearly a decade of experience in risk management solutions for the energy industry. A Sam Houston State University graduate, Gunner and his wife, Bailey, live in Houston with their three children. The Vaught family is deeply involved in community initiatives, and Gunner is enthusiastic about furthering All Ears! Center’s mission through his board service.

“Our expansion is a reflection of the growing need for accessible, expert hearing health services—and the community’s support behind that mission,” said Lee Rech, Executive Director of All Ears! Center. “We are deeply grateful to every donor who made this possible. Your generosity has not only expanded our reach but changed lives of those in or community who have hearing loss.”
