The Woodlands Diversion’s ‘Embrace’ Concert celebrates Love through Voice and Chamber Music
The Woodlands Diversion presents Embrace on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Lone Star College–Montgomery.
Embrace is an intimate evening of music inspired by love in its many forms – romantic, reflective, and deeply human. The program spans classical art song, opera, tango, jazz standards, and beloved melodies from around the world, woven together with brief spoken reflections that invite connection and context.
The performance features soprano Jan Cornelius Le Claire, joined by Ensemble Diversion: Grace Pugh, violin; Weilan Li, viola; Larysa Horichenko-Balema, cello; and Artistic Director Matthew Kent Everett, piano.
Highlights include works by Schumann, Brahms, Strauss, Debussy, Fauré, Duparc, Barber, Rachmaninoff, and Piazzolla, alongside iconic selections such as La vie en rose, Mi chiamano Mimì, Habanera, and Imagine. The concert unfolds in two acts with intermission and features subtle projection and lighting design that enhances the emotional arc while preserving the intimacy of chamber music.

Following the performance, audiences are invited to a post-performance reception at Galindo’s Coffee & Elixirs, located at 2330 FM 1488, Suite 700B, Conroe, TX.
Tickets are available at thewoodlandsdiversion.org. Admission is included for season ticket holders, with single tickets available for adults, seniors, students, and children.
