The Woodlands Township’s Memorial Day Tribute and Celebration set for May 24
Join The Woodlands Township for an inspiring evening of patriotism and community at the Memorial Day in The Woodlands celebration. The event will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026 5 to 9 p.m. at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive.
Honor, remember and celebrate at this meaningful Memorial Day event. The evening begins with a ceremony paying tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. After the ceremony, enjoy live music, family-friendly activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park. Concessions will be available for purchase. The night ends with a fireworks display set to a patriotic soundtrack.
Guests are also encouraged to support active-duty military personnel by contributing to the onsite care package drop-off booth. View the recommended donation list online.

- 5 p.m. Welcome and National Anthem
- 5:10 p.m. Live Music by The Matt Powers Band (Variety)
- 7 p.m. Keynote Speaker Major Ziairea O’Brien Commanding Officer
- and AUSA Houston Honor Your Hero Ceremony*
- 7:45 p.m. Live Music by The Matt Powers Band (Variety)
- 8:55 p.m. Fireworks**
*Presented by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Houston, this meaningful ceremony honors individuals entering the United States military. Attendees will witness the official swear-in, marking the beginning of a life committed to service and sacrifice for our nation and communities.

Free parking, generously donated by Timberloch, Inc., will be available at the orange, yellow, blue and white lots at 2002 Timberloch Place. Other designated parking areas include:
- Parking lot located at 9669 Grogan’s Mill Road
- 24 Waterway Parking Garage (located at the corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive)
- Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court)
- Surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place
Please note: Event parking is strictly prohibited in Market Street. Towing will be enforced.
Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
