MilkShake Factory opens new location in The Woodlands on Saturday, May 30
MilkShake Factory, the neighborhood dessert destination known for its handspun milkshakes and small-batch, premium chocolates, is opening its newest location in The Woodlands, TX. The new store officially opens on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 4747 Research Forest Dr Suite 195, The Woodlands, TX 77381, bringing the brand’s signature desserts to a family-friendly neighborhood destination in the heart of Cochran’s Crossing Village Center.
To celebrate, MilkShake Factory The Woodlands will host a grand opening event from 12 PM to 4 PM, featuring a buy one, get one free offer on shakes, sundaes, and molten cups, free MilkShake Factory T-shirts for the first 100 guests, and festive giveaways throughout the afternoon.
The Woodlands store is owned and operated by franchisees Paul and Lisa Winslow, who set out to find a concept that felt meaningful for the community they have called home since 2017. They were instantly drawn to MilkShake Factory for its family-friendly appeal, premium products and ability to turn a classic treat into a memorable experience.

Founded in 1914 as a soda fountain and chocolate shop, MilkShake Factory has evolved into a modern dessert destination while preserving its family recipes and commitment to quality. The Woodlands opening marks MilkShake Factory’s second location in the greater Houston area, following its first Houston-area store in Cypress, Texas. With this new location, the brand continues building momentum in Texas while expanding into one of the region’s most family-focused communities.
